Teaching Artist Workshops: Teaching artists share their thoughts during a lesson planning workshop.

Teaching Artist Program

The Bartol Foundation supports the professional development of teaching artists as the most direct way to improve the quality and reach of the region’s arts education programs.

Teaching Artist Workshops:  Bartol provides up to 30 free professional development programs for over 400 teaching artists annually to help make them better teachers and stronger entrepreneurs. You don’t have to be associated with a grantee to participate in these programs and programs are available for artists in all disciplines.  Best of all, all of our workshop are free!

New this year are Teaching Artist Play Dates and Resource Field Trips — all designed to connect you to new teaching strategies and each other.

Make sure to check out our upcoming workshops and ongoing resources available on the Blog/Resources page.

If you have any issues or questions with registration, please email us at info@bartol.org
