Bio

I was born in Peru and grew up surrounded by art, inspired by my mother, a multi-visual artist. My childhood was filled with beautiful books, magical stories, and the rich oral traditions of nannies from the Andes, shaping my imagination and deep connection to culture.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru. As CEO and Co-Founder of Blue & Green International alongside my father, I traveled extensively, representing our company on international commercial missions. During these journeys, I immersed myself in different cultures and studied artistic techniques, learning Suminagashi and traditional Woodblock Printing in Japan.

Our company was honored with Best Company of the Year in 2003 and 2004 by The America Awards, and I received recognition as a Master in Entrepreneurship from the Best Peruvian Company Award. Alongside my business career, I learned the secrets of weaving and natural dyeing from Peruvian artisans, knowledge I continue to value and preserve so these ancestral techniques are not forgotten.

After getting married, I felt called to shift from business to education. I chose teaching as a way to give back, combining my love for art and my deep commitment to children. For more than fourteen years, I have worked as a teaching artist, dedicated to nurturing creativity and confidence in young minds.

My art reflects my belief that we are surrounded by the spirits of nature—powerful, adaptable forces that guide and inspire us. I am also a collector at heart, gathering leaves and flowers and capturing fleeting moments through photography.

One of my main goals is to raise awareness about environmental responsibility. I encourage my students to understand that the planet needs their care and that they can express their ideas about sustainability through art. My Peruvian roots constantly call me back to the land and to gratitude for Mother Earth—Pachamama—whose presence grounds my creative and personal growth.

What I love most today is teaching. Though I am no longer a child, when I am with my students, they allow me to rediscover that sense of wonder. I learn from them every day, and I strive to empower them to believe they can reach their fullest potential.

Arts. Community. Transformation.
