Bio

Yaqeen Yamani (she/her, b. 1997) is a Yemeni Palestinian photographer and artist working across photography, video, and printmaking. She received her BA in Media and Film Studies from Al-Quds Bard College and is a Fulbright Scholar with an MFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
A grantee of the Arab Documentary Photography Program by AFAC, Magnum Foundation, the Prince Claus Fund, and currently working on a long-term project titled In Flow With Water, which examines the cultural and environmental relationships surrounding a natural water spring in her home city Jericho in Palestine.
Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Germany, Bahrain, Egypt, Palestine, and France.
