Juntos is a community-led, Latine, immigrant organization in South Philadelphia fighting for our human rights as workers, parents, youth, and immigrants. Through Guachinangos Youth Music Academy, we work with a collective of musicians who are immigrants, culture bearers, and activists working to preserve traditional Latin American music styles, fuse Mexican folkloric music with Afro-Colombian rhythms, and mentor the next generation of Latinx youth. Chinese Opera Society of Philadelphia Bartol Award Grantee 2023

The Chinese Opera Society of Philadelphia is the 2023 Winner of the George Bartol Arts Education Award.

The Award of $5,000 is given to an organization that provides sustained, meaningful participation in the arts; that demonstrates an active engagement in the lives of its students and community; and that maintains high artistic standards for its faculty and students.
