Teaching Artist Programs

The Bartol Foundation supports the professional development of teaching artists as the most direct way to improve the quality and reach of the region’s arts education programs.

Come to a Teaching Artist Workshop!  Bartol provides up to 20 free professional development programs for over 400 teaching artists annually to help make them better teachers and stronger entrepreneurs. You don’t have to be associated with a grantee to participate in these programs and programs are available for artists in all disciplines.  Best of all, all of our workshops are free!  If you have any issues or questions with registration, please email us at info@bartol.org

Be part of our Trauma-Informed Practice Training for Teaching Artists and for Arts Education Administrators!  Learn more about these in-depth trainings and why you should be trauma-informed.

Apply for  Micro-Grants to Teaching Artists!  The Bartol Foundation makes grants of $500 to teaching artists working to complete a community-based project.
