Printing Without A Press
Wednesday, December 5 @ 6:00 PM - 8:30 PMFree
Printmaking is a rich and versatile medium that can ignite your students’ imagination and creativity. In this workshop you’ll discover several printmaking techniques that do not require a press and can be easily incorporated into any classroom environment. You’ll explore the basic methods and techniques of the highly expressive monoprint process, starting with rolling ink onto Gelli plates, and using simple stencils to make your marks. We will work with different tools and have an open conversation about how to introduce Gelli plates to different age groups. The instructor will provide personal tips and share his experiences introducing the medium to students. SE HABLA ESPAÑOL.
