Caitlin is a creative, critical thinker, truth teller, and lovergirl who likes to dance, and exists in a constant state of becoming. Their work concentrates on the body’s role in wellness, catharsis, and connection. Caitlin enjoys working collaboratively and with youth, as well as choreographing works that start conversation and inspire self-reflection.

Bio

Caitlin is a freelance choreographer with a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University (R-DMT). Caitlin’s choreography has been featured in works with Philadelphia Dance Projects, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Philly Fringe Festival, The Painted Bride, and a Regothereshego music video. Caitlin has been a dance teaching artist since 2018 and has worked with organizations such as The Village of Arts and Humanities, BuildaBridge, Dancing Classrooms Philly, Independence Charter School, and West Park Cultural Center (2025-present). Caitlin is events coordinator and staff writer for thINKingDANCE, an online dance publication in Philadelphia. Other publishings include articles for cinéSPEAK’s online journal through their Philly Cultural Critics Fellowship (2025), and her research thesis titled Dance Improvisation and Identity Development: Exploring the Role of the Body in Experiencing and Expressing Self. Caitlin’s curatorial and facilitation background involves convening artists and community members for workshop experiences such as, “Dancing to Transgress: Lessons from bell hooks” (2020), “Our Embodied Impulses” (2021), “Embodied Practices for the Classroom”, and “The Joy in Our Movement” (2021, 2025). Caitlin is making her directorial debut with the experimental dance film, Eros: Fragile as it is Free.
