The Bartol Foundation provides grants to the Arts community in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This includes grants to Arts Organizations, Teaching Artist Micro-Grants and the annual George Bartol Art Education Award.

Acting Without Boundaries

General Operating Support/Arts Education ($6,000)

Acting Without Boundaries (AWB) transforms lives and builds self-esteem in an empowering community of people with physical disabilities through performing arts programs that celebrate ability. AWB challenges participants’ caregivers, volunteers, and audiences’ perceptions about people with disabilities and their capabilities, through year-round programs and workshops that build confidence on-stage and beyond.

Future is Us Collective

The Future is Us Collective provides free platforms for emerging artists to showcase their artworks while giving young Philadelphians a safe space to enjoy the arts. In addition to exhibitions, we facilitate public programming for young creatives with a primary goal of radical healing, cultivating spaces where participants can collectively process trauma and share knowledge through art making.

International Ballet Exchange

Ryir Norris (she/he/they) is a movement teaching artist. This grant will support the launch of the independent Movement and Movement Workshops.

Roslyn Jones

Roslyn Jones (she/her) is a mixed media collage and visual art teaching artist. Roslyn will present collage workshops for people with Alzheimer's and dementia.
